📒Tutorial: How can MEX users use MEX to participate in the MMX launch?

MEX has officially joined the ecosystem upgrade and will soon launch the development plan for the new platform token MMX.

The original MEX mechanism has been adjusted as follows:

  1. MEX minting stopped; entry moved to “Personal Centre” → “My MEX”

  2. Locking stopped; users can immediately withdraw all remaining MEX (withdrawal gas fee reduced to current ENI mainnet level)

MEX users have two options:

  1. Use MEX to participate in MMX launch

  2. Wait for the buyback programme to start

Step 1: Enter “daoaas.io” in the wallet’s “Discover” page

Step 2: Click “My MEX” in the bottom-right “Personal Centre”

Step 3: In “My Minting”, click “Withdraw” to extract all MEX

Tip: Due to high demand for the event, if your withdrawal fails, please wait a moment and try again.

Step 4: After completing the withdrawal, in the “MMX Launch” section under “MEX Update Plan” at the bottom of the page, click “Activate and Add Liquidity” at the bottom.

Tips:

  1. Users only need to cancel all minted MEX to obtain MMX launch quota

  2. Launch quota calculated by EGAS consumed during minting & withdrawal of MEX (denominated in USDT)

  3. “Total Minted” is the number of MEX to cancel; if “MEX Balance” < “Total Minted”, user must make up the difference

  4. “Current Contract Launch Quota” = total MMX quota available for exchange, valid until quota is exhausted

Example:

  • User A total minted MEX: 1,000

  • Minting & withdrawal consumed 200 EGAS

  • User A gets MMX launch quota worth 200 USDT

  • If balance = 800 MEX (200 short), user must add 200 MEX to join

Step 5: After clicking “Approve”, click “Burn and Add Liquidity” to complete the launch. The system will automatically calculate the amount of MEX to be cancelled and the corresponding MMX launch quota and MMX amount obtainable. The MMX LP tokens obtained from the launch will be automatically locked; upon maturity, users can withdraw the appreciated USDT on this page, and the MMX in the LP will be destroyed.
